"The Unexpected" - 2013 - Live Painting with Luc and the Lovingtons at the Everette Marina, Washington. A beautiful four-year-old indigenous boy of the North West jumped on stage to paint beside me! This painting is now part of the Permanent Art Collection of the City of Everette and hangs in the City Hall.

In the solitary act of painting I dive deep into the dance. These moments are treasured, yet simultaneously I feel the urge to collaborate with other artists. Luc Reynaud, an incredable musician, and I swam through Europe on the waves of spontaneous creativity. By "accident" we found musicians from around the globe and arranged live concerts in Berlin, Germany, Porto, Portugal and Grenoble, France. A canvas is in direct contact with the musicians as we dive into the exploration of multiple mediums on stage. With no time to analyze, the subconscious opens vulnerable to the moment. The preconceived visions are put aside. The final product is not the focal point; the process of life is the art itself. The music moves through my body, every note, and every brushstroke. When the music stops, the painting is finished. Here in the United State this conversation continues.
